Gulf Coast Public Safety
Problem
Local vehicle customization shop wanted to improve their brand image and web presence. Previous website was 1-paragraph Wix page.
Solution & Impact
I helped Gulf Coast Public Safety set up hosting at another provider, saving them significant money each month. I redesigned their site with a modern aesthetic and typography, service areas, portfolio and a functional contact form. For direction, I leaned into the “red / blue” contrast of flashing police lights. Each section had red or blue accents and where possible I crafted CSS hover effects to switch between the two when interacted with. Commercial photography was also outside of their current budget, so I used realistic AI image generation prompting to create a series of “Emergency Vehicles” to demonstrate their light installation styles.
Red and blue, switching
The direction came straight from the light bar: every section takes either red or blue, and wherever an element could respond to a person, it switches to the other. Hover or focus anything below.
- Emergency red
#E01E37Primary accent - Patrol blue
#1E5AE0Switches on interaction
Light Bar Installation
LED light bars with precise mounting and wiring for optimal visibility and durability in all conditions.
Dash & Deck Lighting
Interior warning lights engineered for maximum effectiveness with minimal vehicle modification.
Cards and buttons are both live — hover them, or tab through with a keyboard. The switch is CSS only, so it works with scripting disabled and settles instantly under prefers-reduced-motion.
